Crochet Bunny Ears for Harengon & Rabbit Characters

You clicked the button for the ear you wanted. The sign changes to say “Golem, step inside.” Your golem steps inside, the doors swing shut and a warm glow peeks between the doors. Once it subsides, your Golem steps out with ears in place.  

These crochet bunny ears are perfect for bringing rabbit-inspired characters to life. With their tall, expressive shape, they’re ideal for creating Harengon adventurers, woodland rabbits, or other fantasy characters with long, upright ears.

Because these are customizable doll ears, you can adjust the angle, spacing, and colors to suit your character’s style. Keep them tall and alert for an adventurous Harengon hero, or add wire and gently bend them for a softer, more relaxed rabbit-inspired look.

Materials:

Small amount of yarn in skin (fur?) color of Little Dude and inner ear color. Want the ear all one color? make the inner ear with the same yarn. 

3.5 mm hook (or hook used for Little Dude if you adjusted)

Yarn needle to attach to head (or glue? could work)

This one is super quick and simple! Make 2 inner ears, then repeat with the outer ear color but don’t finish off until you SC the two piece together.

ch 16, dc in 3rd ch, dc 2, hdc4, sc5, ss2. thin ear? stop here. otherwise continue down other side: ch1, ss2, sc5, hdc 4, dc3, ch3 ss to start, fo tuck tail

Inner ear do row 1 but don’t fo. ch 1 and turn, lay inner ear on top and sc around edge, 2sc in tip.
