If you play Final Fantasy XIV, you know that seasonal events are never just filler content. They’re charming, story-driven, and usually come with rewards that make you immediately rearrange your house.
This year’s Little Ladies’ Day event in Final Fantasy XIV gave us something especially fun: a chance to interact with the fans of the Songbirds… and then speak to one of the Songbirds herself (or himself if you prefer Picot).
And yes — I absolutely redecorated the Free Company house after.
Let’s talk about it.
What Is Little Ladies’ Day in FFXIV?
Little Ladies’ Day is FFXIV’s springtime seasonal event, inspired by traditional doll festivals and cherry blossom celebrations. It typically takes place in Ul’dah and centers around themes of youth, performance, encouragement, and community.
It’s one of those events that feels soft and sweet — but this year had an extra sparkle thanks to a certain idol group.

Meeting the Songbirds (And Their Fans)
The Songbirds are a cheerful singing group within the world of Eorzea. Their energy? Bright. Their fans? Devoted.
During this year’s event, we:
- Spoke to enthusiastic Songbirds fans
- Helped with some behind-the-scenes support
- Got to talk directly to one of the Songbirds
I always love when seasonal events let us interact with performers or entertainers in-game. It makes the world feel lived-in instead of just quest-driven.
It was light, charming, and very on-brand for Little Ladies’ Day — encouragement, admiration, and supporting someone stepping into the spotlight.

Little Ladies’ Day 2026 Rewards
Let’s be honest. We’re here for the rewards.
This year’s event gave us:
- ✨ New emotes (event reward)
- 🎵 An Orchestrion Roll
- 🖼️ Songbirds posters
- 🌸 A cherry blossom tree furnishing
- 👕 Event t-shirts (purchasable)
- Additional purchasable emotes
Now… full transparency?
I did not buy the shirt. It just wasn’t my style this year. And that’s okay! Not every event glam has to come home with me.
But I absolutely grabbed:
- The emotes
- The orchestrion roll
- The posters
- The cherry tree
No regrets.

Decorating the Free Company House for Spring 🌸
After finishing the event, I did what any responsible Warrior of Light would do:
I redecorated.
Valentione’s Day decorations came down (goodbye hearts cake 💔), and the downstairs of the Free Company house got a Songbirds-inspired spring refresh.
Here’s what I did:
- Replaced Valentine décor with Songbirds posters
- Set up the cherry tree outside as a seasonal focal point
- Swapped the music to the new orchestrion roll for ambiance
- Leaned into a soft spring performance vibe
The posters actually worked beautifully as a wall feature. They gave the space personality without overwhelming it — which I appreciated and the fun tabletop one fit right in on the food tables.
There’s something deeply satisfying about letting in-game events influence your housing style. It makes your space feel current — like it exists in the same timeline as the world.

Why FFXIV Seasonal Events Just Work
One thing I consistently love about Final Fantasy XIV events:
They’re small, but meaningful.
You get:
- A quick but heartfelt story
- World-building moments
- Unique cosmetic rewards
- Housing items that feel tied to the narrative
It never feels like a grind. It feels like participating in a festival.
And for those of us who love housing and decorating? It’s basically an excuse to refresh our aesthetic every few months.
Final Thoughts on Little Ladies’ Day 2026
This year’s Little Ladies’ Day was sweet, simple, and very “idol-fan wholesome.”
Highlights for me:
- Talking to the Songbirds and their supporters
- New expressive emotes
- Decorating the Free Company house for spring
- Sadly taking down Valentione’s Day décor
Would I have liked different shirts? Maybe.
Did I still walk away happy? Absolutely.
If you participated, I’d love to know:
Did you redecorate? Did you buy the shirt? Did you like the fate?
Spring has officially arrived in Eorzea — and my Free Company house proves it. 🌸✨
